My personal interests includes sports (mainly Soccer and Tennis) and photography.  I like computers and technological toys (even when my budget constrains are always binding) and my favorite game is playing with Ubuntu and trying new software.  I also enjoy listening music and taking my daughter to the playground, to the Zoo or to the great Monterey Aquarium.  Our favorite vacations are go camping to the beautiful Lake Tahoe.  And I also like movies but I can't never remember their names!

This is an historical picture of my soccer team, where I was the goalkeeper and also the coach.  Our team was based on Chilean players (Carlos, Juan Carlos, Arturo, Luis, Andres and me), but there are also two Argentinians (Matias and Lucas) , one Brazilian (Andrei) and one Spanish (Fernando).  After three seasons playing well in the UC Berkeley league and loosing in quarterfinal or semifinals, we finally make our way to the final and obtained the championship last Fall.  This will surely be one of my "best accomplishments" in Berkeley given that our average age is over 30 and we usually play against undergrads/grads in a much much better physical shape.  But our experience, technique and good tactics lead us to win the cup (that by the way does not exist!  The prize was those nice blue T-shirts...).  The name of our team is "The Villanos" and has two interpretations.  One is "The Villeans" or the bad guys... the other -the real one- is "people that live in a Village"... and it is because most of us live in the Berkeley University Village for graduates students
